Facebook – it’s a powerful tool that is too big to ignore, but are you aware of both its many uses and its potential pitfalls? Join us for a discussion of Facebook, its opportunities and concerns. Raise your awareness to think about having integrated policies when using Facebook across your organization. Bob Jones and the presenters will lead the discussion and share their organizations’ experiences. Discussion points will include shifting Facebook boundaries, access & confidentiality issues, staff time, uses outside of the development department, inappropriate Facebook content, empowering staff, and more.

The RDS Advisory Committee regularly schedules teleconferences on topics that are relevent, timely, and educational. These teleconferences are open to the public, although pre-registration is required. Session dates and registration details for the Grant Writing and Importance of Subsidizing Your Business: Philanthropy will be posted approximately one month prior to each teleconference.
Information on teleconferences will also be promoted in the Alliance E-News, published every other Tuesday and distributed free to Alliance members who sign up for the electronic newsletter.
